The room rates vary according to the season. The best rate is guaranteed by booking directly with the Mas du Chanoine, either by email  ([email protected]), by phone (+33 6 27 27 16 49) or by using the online booking engine (button Book Now).

For the guest rooms the price is for double occupancy per night, including complimentary continental breakfast, car park and WiFi. In case of single occupancy, the price will be reduced by 10 € per night.

The lowest price is for the room “Saint-Pauloise” and the highest price is for the ground floor rooms “Cannoise” or “Niçoise”.

These rooms do not allow for additional guests.

The tourist tax levied by the municipality is to be added at a rate of € 1.07 per night, per person over 18 years old.

Terms and Conditions

 

1 – Length of stay

The signatory client of the contract concluded for a fixed term can not in any circumstances invoke any right to maintain the premises.

2 – Conclusion of the contract

Any reservation will become effective only upon receipt of a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay, with a minimum of one night. The payment of this deposit implies acceptance of the general terms and conditions.

3 – Cancellation policy

Based on the small size of our guest house, any cancellation has a significant impact on us.

If a booking is canceled more than 60 days prior to arrival, we will refund your deposit (minus bank fees).

Between 60 and 30 days prior to arrival, cancellation or shortening of the length of your stay, the deposit will be forfeited in full.

Less than 30 days prior to arrival, cancellation or shortening of the length of your stay, the total amount due will be billed.

Shortened stay: in case of early departure, the total stay will be billed.

In order to protect yourself against the risk of cancellation, we recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance from your insurer, your credit card provider, or Mondial Assistance.

4 – Check-in & Check-out

On the day of your arrival at the Mas du Chanoine, we suggest that you arrive between 5 and 7pm. In case of late arrival or rescheduling, you must inform us as soon as possible and before 5pm. Out of the Mas during the day, we won’t be able to welcome you before 5pm.

On departure day, we thank you to vacate the room before 11 am.

5 – Payments

The deposit should be paid in credit card (VISA, Mastercard).

The balance is payable locally on arrival in cash or credit card: Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard.

6 – Taxes

Rates include the VAT 10%.

The tourist tax is a local tax that the guest must pay to the owner who then transfers it to the Treasury. The price for 2024 is 1.07€ per night per person aged 18 and over.

7 – Use of the premises

To enjoy your stay at the Mas du Chanoine, it is imperative to have a vehicle.

We wish to inform our guests that the guest rooms, the reception areas and the patio during the breakfast service are non-smoking (including e-cigarettes); we request that you to strictly respect this directive as a courtesy to other guests.

Use of the premises : guests must respect the peaceful character of the premises and their intended use. Guests undertake to return the room in the same condition as on arrival. In case of damage, the customer agrees to reimburse the costs incurred.

Access to the pool area is prohibited for unaccompanied minor children. Parents must also supervise their children who remain under their full responsibility.

8 – Animals

The coexistence of various animals on the property (cat, fish, frogs, turtles) does not allow us to host additional animals.

9 – Occupancy

The contract is for a specific number of people. If the number of clients exceeds this number, the owner is able to deny additional customers. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner, and the price corresponding to the cost of the accommodation remains acquired to the owner.

10 –Insurance

The customer is responsible for all damages arising from him. The customer certifies to be covered by a liability insurance covering his own responsibility and that of the accompanying persons.

11 – Litigation

It is recommended to approach the Tourism Ombudsman who will intervene to promote the settlement of disputes amicably. The Court of Grasse has sole jurisdiction for disputes arising from the execution or interruption of this contract.
