June is the garden month in Menton
Menton houses several remarkable gardens, classified as historical monuments heritage. Created in the nineteenth century or in the 1920s by various senior botanists, they were classified in the 1990s and reopened to the public.
In June, the month of the gardens, tours are organized to discover these magical places with tropical species.
- The Garden Serre de la Madone covers 6 hectares, with a forest top and a bottom, joined by arbors, gazebo, stairs and tanks to irrigate the entire property. The road, which provides access to the garden is lined with rare trees. Open every day except Monday from 10am to 6pm from April to October, tours at 15h.
- The Garden Fontana Rosa also known as Novelists garden is dedicated to the world of the nineteenth century writers whose busts adorn the pediment heavy portal and rotunda. Roses, orange trees give off their fragrance, and the sound of fountains refreshes the atmosphere. Guided tours on Friday and Monday.

- The exotic botanical garden of Val Rameh opened in 1967, juxtaposes gardens with different species: coming from distinct geographical origins: tropical and subtropical fruit trees, olive trees, palms (Arecaceae) and Solanaceae. A tropical vegetation to part with a dry climate is also present. The water garden with lotus and water lilies adorned color in the spring. Open from 10:30am to 12:30pm and 14:30pm to 6:30 pm summer
- The Garden Maria Serena is a palm grove grouping on two levels, separated by a steep slope groups palm varied species
